Movie – Angel Has Fallen
Overview:
Plot is quite simple in that a man named Mike Banning is being framed for a setup assassination attempt on somebody. In this incident he is left the only person alive. Throughout the entire setup and reasoning for how they were trying to frame him… I found it pretty weak. Was not that believable with the way it was all setup.
There is a twist near the end of the movie that some might not expect but isn’t too shocking. From a action point of view, it’s a good movie and delivers what one would expect. As for the plot and story, its sad.
Visuals/Music:
Camera work and visuals looked good enough. Nothing spectacular or shocking. The scene in the woods with the explosives was enjoyable and was probably one of the peaks.
As for the music, it does its job and doesn’t feel out of place. Sound effects are placed properly, some of the, used for people at times during fight scenes could use a bit of work but the budget was more put towards having it be an enjoyable action movie to pass the time… looking at it from the perspective it is worth a watch.
Final Thoughts:
Not that exciting of a movie but for those wanting a decent action movie to hold them over for the next big thriller to release, might as well take a look. It won’t disappoint but doesn’t go above what expectations should be set at. You go in for some action, you get the action.
Don’t go in expecting story or good plot since the plot is very simple and not really the best around. There have been better setups in the past that are a lot more believable. From the first few minutes of the movie, if you make assumptions of what is to come… it will probably be right.
