Anime – Manaria Friends

Overview:

The series is set in the Shingeki no Bahamut world. Two princesses that become acquainted at the school they are going to with each episode following the interactions and near interrelations between them.

Only 10 episodes long with each episode being ~15 min long, it’s a quick watch. Some action here and there but for the most part it is slice of life with primary focus solely on Grea and Anne.

Visuals/Music:

The visuals are quite stunning. Nearly any scene is capable of being paused on and the amount of details packed into the frame is up there on par with some movies. There was not a single ep where animation dropped below the high threshold they set from episode one.

Music was alright. No opening, and the ending was not a traditional style ending. Felt more like a short movie credits where they have a soft song playing as they show the creators/actors ect. Sound effects were goo enough matching with what would be expected given when they happen. None seemed to be out of place or misused.

Final Thoughts:

For anybody wanting a fun watch to pass a couple hours of time, it’s a perfect show for doing so. There isn’t really a story but that doesn’t mean it is bad by any means. The animation quality alone would be a reason a person should watch through it… not even including the kyoot interactions between Grea and Anne.
