Anime – Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka II [TV]

Overview:

This season of DanMachi covers 2 arcs. Both arcs are very similar in that its envy and lust for something that they want and are going out of there way to achieve it with the result being something they never could have expected. One the endings being clearly worse than the other, depending how prideful a person is.

First arc is a fight between gods and the second is basically kidnapping with a twist lol. Both arcs are more focused on character development for out main man Bell and give a tad more insight into his background near the end of the season.

After the envious/lustful god arcs are over there is a finishing last couple eps to clean up the loose ends of character development with Bell to get him to finally accept what he was trying to push away and not wanting to fully accept as he thought it’d be too sinful. Can’t say for 100% certainty he has accepted it but at least we are shown a good amount of progress has been made.

Visuals/Music:

Visuals are as good as the first season with them being more simplistic than other anime while also detailing other parts without them feeling out of place. It’s a bit of a unique art style and I have loved it since the first season, there is no downside to it and has only improved since its initial debut.

All the music throughout is used to a good extent to help the viewer get immersed and enjoy the shows moments, be that moments that are on the more emotional side or casual day to day slice of life scenes. Silence is used accordingly and none of it felt out of place, it is enjoyable and nice to watch/listen through the eps.

Final Thoughts:

I recommend the show to anybody that wants an anime on the lighter side but with story and character development throughout. It is enjoyable and no episode feels like a drag to get through. Currently it is nothing grand, but it doesn’t need to be grand. If anything, could always watch for the art style and character design. There are plenty of good looking characters and remember brestia is bestia :mrclean: .
